Chronology of cameras Krasnogorsk
Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.
Zenit TTL has as a base Zenit EM and Zenit E. It appeared in 1978 and was the first Soviet camera having TTL measurement (through the lens) of the exposure. This system of measurement is partly that which equipped already the East-German Praktica cameras .
At its time, it was the least expensive TTL camera of the market.
Even in the absence of battery (standard mercury oxide 1,35 volt Ucar EPX 625), the camera continues to function (without exposure meter). Like the E and EM, the TTL is easy to find. Its mounting with a diameter 42 mm with step of 1mm makes it possible to associate a great number of current and not very expensive lenses to him. The standard lens is Helios 44M which is one 2/58mm.
The principal disadvantages are the absence slow speeds (1/30 to the 1/500), the absence of speed and diaphragm recall in the finder and… the weight.
This camera marked the disappearance of the ghost. Nothing to see with phantoms. It was about the Russian unit of measurement of the sensiblity of films. This unit was close to that of Asa.
